Objective
To deliver exceptional food and beverage service to guests in accordance with established service standards, company policies, and hygiene regulations, ensuring a memorable dining experience and high levels of guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Set up restaurant tables with linens, tableware, utensils, and decorative elements in accordance with established presentation and service standards.
- Provide professional and attentive food and beverage service, ensuring compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and food safety regulations (HACCP).
- Present menu items clearly, offering recommendations and accurately describing ingredients, preparation methods, and pairing options when required.
- Take guest orders accurately, identifying special dietary needs or preferences, and communicate orders effectively to the kitchen and bar teams.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and correctly, ensuring appropriate accompaniments, garnishes, and condiments are provided.
- Maintain continuous communication with guests to anticipate needs, handle requests, and ensure a seamless and personalized service experience.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar position within hotels or restaurants of comparable category and size.
- Knowledge of service quality standards, service protocols, and restaurant etiquette
- Understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations (HACCP compliance).
- Basic knowledge of gastronomy and beverages; knowledge of wine service is an advantage.
