Objective
To prepare and present assigned food items in accordance with established recipes, quality standards, and hygiene regulations, supporting kitchen operations and contributing to a consistent and high-quality culinary experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to standardized recipes, portion control, and presentation guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards, including HACCP procedures.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas.
- Support senior kitchen staff with mise en place and daily production requirements.
- Properly store food items following labeling, rotation, and temperature control procedures.
- Report equipment malfunctions or food safety concerns to the immediate supervisor.
- High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
- Previous experience as Cook B or in a similar kitchen role within hotels or restaurants is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques, food handling, and kitchen safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
