Objective
To ensure guest rooms are maintained in optimal operating condition by performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks in accordance with established technical, safety, and quality standards, contributing to guest comfort and satisfaction
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in guest rooms, including electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, carpentry, and general repair tasks.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders to minimize room downtime and guest impact.
- Inspect guest rooms to identify technical issues, safety hazards, or maintenance needs.
- Ensure all repairs comply with safety regulations and hotel maintenance standards.
- Properly use, maintain, and store tools, equipment, and materials.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping and Front Office to ensure rooms are ready for occupancy.
- Report major technical issues or recurrent failures to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance, facilities, or technical roles is an asset.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
