PURCHASING ASSISTANT

Support the Purchasing Department by assisting with procurement processes, ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services, cost control, and compliance with established purchasing policies and operational standards. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation, issuance, and follow-up of purchase orders
  • Coordinate with suppliers to confirm pricing, availability, and delivery schedules
  • Support receiving processes by validating quantities, quality, and documentation
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, reports, and files
  • Coordinate with Warehouse, Finance, and operational departments to ensure timely supply
  • Support cost control initiatives and compliance with purchasing policies
  • Assist with inventory follow-up and supplier performance tracking
  • Perform additional purchasing-related duties as assigned

Experiencia y aptitudes deseadas

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical studies in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or administrative support roles, preferably in hospitality
  • Knowledge of procurement procedures and supplier management
  • Ability to manage documentation, purchase orders, and follow-ups
  • Good organizational and communication skills
