Objective
To support kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and proper handling of food and equipment, ensuring compliance with hygiene, safety, and quality standards to support efficient food production and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks in accordance with established recipes and instructions.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, utensils, equipment, and workstations at all times.
- Support proper storage and labeling of food items in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Dispose of waste properly and follow recycling and sustainability procedures.
- Comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including HACCP standards.
- High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
- Previous experience in kitchens, food preparation, or hospitality environments is an asset.
- Knowledge of basic food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
