Position Summary
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all engineering and maintenance operations to ensure optimal functionality, safety, and aesthetics of the property. This role leads preventive and corrective maintenance programs, manages budgets, ensures compliance with safety and quality standards, and drives operational efficiency within a luxury hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily maintenance operations, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of all building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, pools, kitchens, etc.).
  • Develop and monitor KPIs such as MTTR, MTBF, downtime reduction, and maintenance costs.
  • Manage departmental budget, control expenses, and optimize inventory and spare parts.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and brand quality requirements.
  • Lead, train, and develop the engineering team to maintain high performance and service standards.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized services and projects.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency programs.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain luxury-level presentation and guest satisfaction.


Experiencia y aptitudes deseadas

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in luxury hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
  • Experience managing budgets and maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Willingness to relocate (if applicable).
